What an exciting week it has been at our school!
Today, students enjoyed our annual Field Day, and it was wonderful to see so much energy, laughter, teamwork, and school spirit throughout the day. A special thank you goes to the Fort Belvoir Fire Department for helping us cool off with their annual rain-down that quickly became one of the highlights of the day. Our students had an amazing time, and we are grateful for the continued support of our community partners.
This week also brought a very special tradition as we welcomed back our Dolphin alumni for their Senior Walk. It was a privilege to congratulate and celebrate these graduating seniors as they walked the halls where many of their educational journeys began. Watching them return reminded us that schools are so much more than buildings—they are places where memories are made, friendships are formed, and dreams begin to take shape.
It is within these hallways that we continue creating lasting memories with our students and families. These are the moments we hope our students will treasure as they reflect on their elementary school years before stepping into the next chapter of their lives. Seeing our alumni return serves as a powerful reminder that today's experiences become tomorrow's cherished memories.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to our Music Department for a wonderful concert last night. Our students worked incredibly hard to prepare and showcase their talents, and their performances reflected both their dedication and the commitment of our music educators. We are proud of the confidence, creativity, and joy our students shared with the audience.
As we enter the final weeks of the school year, we look forward to celebrating the many achievements and accomplishments of our students. There is much to be proud of, and we are excited for the opportunities ahead to recognize their growth, hard work, and success. Staff will continue to share information about upcoming events and celebrations as we work together to finish the year strong.
