Jury convicts former Mountain View town councilman of shooting teen looking for homecoming photo spot in split verdict

A Jefferson County jury on Monday convicted a former town councilman from Mountain View of shooting a teenager in the face in 2024, but found him not guilty of half the charges he faced.
