“Grief has a way of clarifying what matters,” said Sam Levinson last night at an exclusive watch party for the season three—and series—finale of his zeitgeist-y HBO hit Euphoria. “It strips everything down to the essentials: your family, your friends, your faith. And it reminds you that even in the face of unimaginable loss, the decision to keep hoping to believe in a better world might be the very thing that can help create one.” His remarks, writes Chris Murphy, certainly foreshadowed what was about to unfold on the show—which really is ending now that it’s wrapped its third season.
