Dear Powell Puma Families,
As we head into the long weekend, we would like to wish all of our Powell families a safe, restful, and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.
Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States military. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy and express gratitude for those who have served our country.
We also want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate all of our students who recently completed their SOL assessments. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, perseverance, and effort throughout testing. Thank you to our staff and families for supporting students during this important time.
Please note that students will return to school on Thursday, May 28 following the Memorial Day holiday. We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful long weekend filled with rest, family, and time together.
