2026-27 Class Placements
Thank you to all families who took the time to share input as we begin planning class placements for the upcoming school year. Your insights are an important part of helping us create balanced, supportive learning environments where all students can thrive.
As of today, May 22 at 4:00 p.m., the input form is now closed. Our team will carefully review all responses as we move forward with the placement process. We appreciate your partnership and the thoughtful information you provided.
Calendar Reminders
There is no school May 25-27.
Monday, May 25, is Memorial Day. Tuesday, May 26, is a teacher workday. There is no school for students. Wednesday, May 27, is a holiday for Eid al-Adha. Schools and offices will be closed.

Third Annual FCPS Puzzle Hunt Encourages Active Family Fun
The Solving Fun Puzzle Pals have been busy getting ready for the 3rd Annual Fairfax County Public Schools Puzzle Hunt, and it kicks off in only three weeks!
This free event is open to solvers of all ages and is a great way to keep students and families engaged in fun, creative problem-solving over the summer. It also teaches bike and pedestrian safety and encourages active transportation.
New this year: The school with the most solvers will win a special visit from Sue Doku! Sign up for the Puzzle Hunt!
 Students collaborated to program Ozobot robots during an activity in Mrs. Moreno-Dunk's class this week.
Book Fair Family Night
Book Fair Family Night is May 29 in the cafeteria from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Come buy books with your family! It's a great time to prepare for summer reading!
Kona Ice will be available for purchase in the parking lot from 4:45-7:15 p.m.
The Fairfax County Public librarians will be here to talk about the summer reading program and sign you up for a library card.
