Mercedes-Benz debuts AMG GT with axial flux motor
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, a fully electric vehicle featuring three motors that produce 1,153 horsepower and 1,475 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle can charge at 600 kilowatts, going from 10% to 80% in 11 minutes, and has a range of 315 miles on the Environmental Protection Agency cycle. The car is based on the AMG.EA architecture and rivals the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT in performance, reaching 62 mph in just 2.1 seconds. Other notable features include a synthetic V-8 soundtrack, advanced air suspension and rear-axle steering.

Apple and Major League Soccer will broadcast Saturday's match between the LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo entirely with the iPhone 17 Pro, marking the first time a major pro sports event will be shot exclusively on the device. Fifteen iPhone 17 Pros will be stationed throughout Dignity Health Sports Park for the broadcast, capturing live footage, team warmups, player introductions and crowd scenes.
