Principal's Message

We are now just three weeks away from Graduation, and you can feel the anticipation building in the halls! Because the end-of-the-year schedule has a lot of moving parts, please review the Class of 2026 section for Senior-specific details, as well as the End-of-Year Schedule Information for all other students.

With next week being a short one here at LBSS, we will not be publishing a News You Choose on May 29th. Therefore, these announcements are anticipated to cover everything you need to know until our next edition on June 5th. See you in June!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Go Bruins!

Testing Information

Spring Testing continues through June 3. All-important testing information and the testing calendar can be found on the Lake Braddock Testing Website. Please note important dates your student may be testing and make every attempt to avoid testing interruptions.

Testing concludes in June with Science Retakes (June 1), High School Math & MS Algebra 1 Retakes (June 2) and Middle School Math Retakes (June 3).  As the state testing window closes June 3, there will be no makeups for retakes.  Testing begins promptly at 8 am to allow for ample testing time.  Please be on the lookout for testing emails to students.  Students need to bring their school issued laptops for testing, chargers and their own writing utensils.

If you have specific questions about testing, please reach out to your student’s counselor or subject specific teacher.
