After finishing atop of the standings and making the Professional Women’s Hockey League playoffs for the third season in a row, the Montreal Victoire has finally captured its first Walter Cup.
The Victoire clinched the title with a 4-0 win over the Ottawa Charge in Game 4 between the two teams at Ottawa's Canadian Tire Centre on Wednesday night.
Captain Marie-Philip Poulin was named playoff MVP.
