Quebec’s October election may turn into a three-way race as support returns to the Coalition Avenir Québec under new leader Christine Fréchette, a new poll suggests.
The Parti Québécois leads in the survey released Wednesday, with 30 per cent of respondents saying they plan to vote for the party. Following closely behind is the Quebec Liberal Party at 28 per cent. The CAQ, meanwhile, is at 22 per cent.
A month ago, both the PQ and Liberals were polling in the 30s while the CAQ was stuck in the teens.
