Polls are starting to close as Kentucky and other states hold primaries.

Welcome to another election night!

Today is Primary Day in Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Oregon and Pennsylvania.

A series of races — most prominently a House contest in Kentucky — will measure President Trump’s influence in the Republican Party. This all comes after Trump’s bombshell endorsement of Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate race, which has left Republican senators livid.

There are some interesting tests for the Democrats unfolding, too, especially in Pennsylvania. (Here’s my interview with Gov. Josh Shapiro about the stakes in his state.)

As polls begin to close, here’s what we’re watching. You can follow along with our coverage tonight here.

We’ll be back with a special morning edition of On Politics tomorrow to make sense of it all. See you then!
