A Massive THANK YOU to our Incredible PTA!

Staff Appreciation Week was nothing short of magical, and the RHES staff is still floating on cloud nine! We are truly blown away by the overwhelming outpouring of love, appreciation, and thoughtfulness we experienced all week long.

To our phenomenal PTA coordinators, especially Mrs. Jennifer Lautenschlager, who spent months planning the entire event. Your creativity, flawless organization, and countless hours of hard work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed. From the stunning decorations to the daily surprises, you made every single staff member feel like a superhero.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to our amazing parent volunteers and the entire RHES community. Whether you donated items, contributed funds, or gave your time to help out, you made this week unforgettable.

Thank you for showering us with so much joy and reminding us why RHES is such a special place to be. We feel incredibly lucky to partner with such a supportive, generous community!

Reminder: No Outside Food Deliveries for Students (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.)

We love seeing our students fueled up and ready to learn, but we need to share an important reminder regarding school day lunches. Please note that students may not have food delivered to the school from outside vendors or delivery services (such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, McDonald's, etc.).

We ask for your full cooperation with this rule for two major reasons:

  • Office Disruption: Front office staff cannot manage unscheduled deliveries or interrupt instructional time to track down students.

  • Safety & Compliance: Outside food conflicts with strict USDA School Nutrition Standards and poses a severe risk for undocumented food allergies.

What you can do instead:

Please ensure your student leaves for school with a packed lunch, or encourage them to take advantage of the school cafeteria options. If a student accidentally forgets their lunch, they are always welcome to get a meal from the cafeteria, or you may drop off a lunch directly at the front office.

Thank you for helping us keep RHES safe, focused, and running smoothly!

Celebrating Creativity at Rose Hill!

OEA

Our April Orbit of Excellence Award celebration was an absolute blast! This month, we turned the spotlight on Creativity, honoring a fantastic group of students who were nominated by their teachers for thinking outside the box, sharing unique ideas, and bringing fresh perspectives to our classrooms.

To celebrate their wonderful contributions to our school community, the RHES administrative team traded their pens for spatulas and whipped up a special pancake breakfast for the award recipients. It was a joyful, delicious morning and a wonderful way to highlight the amazing talent we have here at Rose Hill Elementary.

A huge congratulations to all of our April winners—keep shining and creating!
