A Message from the Principal

Greetings Bryant Families!

It was a fantastic week at Bryant as we celebrated our incredible teachers and staff! We want to extend a special thank you to the Fairfax County Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority for providing a delicious Jimmy John’s lunch for our team. We were thrilled to shower our staff with gratitude and treats each day, and a reminder - appreciation doesn't have a deadline. If a staff member has made a difference for your student, you can recognize them any time of year through the FCPS Cares website.

We would like to give a shout out to our very own Mahatevy (Tevy) K. who participated in the FCPS Superintendent's Student Journalist Panel to discuss AI in Education.  It was a thoughtful conversation with Dr. Reid and Chief Technology Officer Gautum Sethi. Tevy's engaging question comes towards the end of the panel and can be seen in the video at the end of the FCPS article. (picture courtesy of FCPS Communications)

Looking ahead to this week, our students will be focusing on the WorkKeys Reading and Writing assessments as well as SOL make-ups. Our students have been doing a wonderful job staying focused and preparing for these assessments so they can finish the year strong. We truly appreciate your partnership in encouraging your child to get a good night’s rest each night so they can perform at their very best.

Lastly, please keep an eye out for an upcoming survey regarding our school communication. We want to hear from you about how you prefer to receive information, what is working well at Bryant, and how you believe we can continue to improve. We look forward to learning from your feedback so we can best meet the needs of our families and students!

Take Care

Cindy Conley

Principal
