Hi!

I hope you've recovered from Sunday's puzzle. In case you haven't, or in case you gave up, I recommend you check out this walkthrough by leonid. He makes these walkthroughs on hard days, so it's always a good idea to check out his channel before throwing your phone out the window.

But was it really such a hard puzzle? Many reported that it should have been rated Evil. The perfect percentage was indeed quite low, only 14%, but still 46% managed to solve it without hints, and 50% of you solved it in less than 11m 36s. My hypothesis is that this puzzle was actually quite easy to get accidentally right, getting the right answer using incomplete logic. In any case, it was definitely an interesting one!

While we're on the topic, let's have a look at last week's stats. Friday stands out as slightly harder than Saturday. Also, an interesting pattern I've noticed is that Monday often has a lower perfect % than Tuesday. Is it because so many try to go for a record time on Mondays? Or maybe I have a tendency to lay out traps in the easier ones, to keep more experienced players on their toes... ? Anyway, here are top 1% / 10% / 50% times, % of perfect solves and % of solves without hints for last weeks puzzles. You can also find these (and more) on the home page.

Last week I also talked about the stats for the full daily archive (Huge thanks to everyone who's bought the archive!). I soon got reports that the stats did not match at all what I had claimed. So I fixed it. Soon I got more reports that the stats were still showing odd numbers. So I fixed it again. And guess what? I had to fix it one more time. But now they finally seem OK. Let me know if something still looks completely off!

You might have already noticed I fixed another thing in the archive as well. Now the archive will show your latest result, and not your original result, allowing you to replay until everything is green. It's how it was intended to work, but never actually did. But this fix came with a trade-off: Now you can't compare your new result with your original result. In case that's the way you preferred it, hang in there, as I'll soon introduce an option so you can choose which results to view. First, last, fastest, most accurate...

Besides fixing issues with the archive and making puzzles, my focus has been on taking community puzzles forward. Hopefully by the end of this month you can finally view (and maybe even create) community puzzles on the home page!

Until then, to satisfy your thirst for puzzles, here are the weekly bonus puzzles. I'll try to make a truly evil one for next week, since I feel we haven't had one in a while...

Finally, remember to share today's puzzle with friends, family and colleagues! Today's is a nice approachable one, and it even has bunnies! Way less scary than the bears from yesterday.

Have a great week!
