leans right into this new reality to set the reunion in motion: It starts off with Anne Hathaway’s Andrea Sachs being recognized for her journalism and losing her investigative newspaper job that same night. Sachs is then brought back into the Runway fold as features editor after Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly goes viral – and not for the right reasons. Johanna Schneller says that setup had comedic potential, but instead, a meandering plot ensues.
