In the last EditorCollection I announced that WippGrid was leaving EditorCollection and I hinted at a new version of WippGrid that I was working on.
What you don't know is that I've been rebuilding WippGrid over and over for the past year without releasing any of the changes...
The reason I haven't shared those updates is because I was never happy with the result. I knew it could be better and didn't want to share something half-baked.
It was either too slow, would crash Resolve, or one of many other reasons that caused it to fall short.
A few months ago, I started working on a new version of WippGrid. Something that would run fast, be reliable, and have all of the new features that I wanted to add.
Next week, I'll be releasing the new version of WippGrid as a standalone tool!
But before the full release, I wanted to share a sneak-peak of what the tool is capable of. All of the grids in the attached video were created with WippGrid without using any keyframes!
