The best ways to prevent tick bites

As you and your loved ones (pets included!) spend more and more time outdoors, consider incorporating a few expert-vetted preventive measures to keep ticks at bay. For example, whenever possible, cover up with pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a hat. Wearing clothes treated with permethrin can also help prevent tick bites. And after you return from your adventures, give your clothes a good brush with a lint roller to capture any ticks that may have hitched a ride.
