Join us next Thursday, April 9, for the 2026 Kellogg Lecture in Jurisprudence featuring Dr. Robert George! The Kellogg Biennial Lecture in Jurisprudence presents the most distinguished contributors to international jurisprudence, judged through writings, reputation, and broad and continuing influence on contemporary legal scholarship. The series is endowed through the generosity of Frederic R. and Molly S. Kellogg.

Join historian Emily Dufton, Dr. Jerome Jaffe, drug addiction specialist and President Richard Nixon's former "Drug Czar" for addiction treatment, and Manuscript Division historian Ryan Reft and reference librarian Kristen Reichenbach on April 15, 2026 from 2pm to 3pm for a discussion about Dufton’s new book Addiction Inc.: Medication-Assisted Treatment and America’s Forgotten War on Drugs which explores the nation's history of drug treatment from the golden era of treatment in the early 1970s, led by Jaffe, to the current day.

Made at the Library is an event series highlighting works inspired by and emerging from research at the Library of Congress. Featuring authors, artists, and other creators in conversation with Library experts, this series takes a deep dive into the process of working with Library’s collections.
