With spring break around the corner, don't forget to take a quick look and share your thoughts before the deadline.
This project incorporates a newly acquired parcel and reflects community priorities around play, accessibility, open space, and environmental sustainability.
The Final Draft Design Includes

Expanded park footprint, incorporating the newly acquired parcel

Expanded open space, including removal of the diagonal path that previously bisected the open space

Expanded play areas for younger (ages 2–5) and older (ages 5–12) children
-
ADA-accessible pathways and amenities, including an accessible loop path and inclusive swing

A new picnic area and seating distributed throughout the park

A bioretention area to collect and treat stormwater runoff

Native tree plantings and landscaping enhancements

Modern playground safety surfacing replacing the sand pit

A new community information kiosk and updated signage
