Being an immigrant from Ecuador and growing up on the East Coast means I was able to experience twice the culture, twice the flavor, and twice the blessings. Jersey raised me with a little fire and a lot of hustle, but my Latin roots are what taught me to slow down and savor it all. I remind myself to pause, ground, and be grateful. Most days, you’ll find me booking a flight, chasing a sunrise somewhere new, and happily eating my way through the local spots. |

I’m a California native who’s called Portland, Oregon, home for the past 16 years, where I live with my husband and our teenage son. I love the wild green spaces and misty, old-growth forests (all that rain is worth it!) to the quirky, artsy small city vibe that fuels my imagination and well-being. Whether I’m forest bathing, rebounding, listening to live music, or cooking a wholesome meal — I’ve learned that wellness is an empowering choice you can make daily. And yes, five minutes counts!

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and now live in Santa Barbara, California. Living on the West Coast has completely reshaped how I think about health — it’s not just workouts and healthy eating; it’s sunlight, fresh air, and actually stepping outside. You’ll usually find me hiking, taking beach walks with my roommate’s dog, or playing tennis to clear my mind and reset. I’m big on “downtime” too — because life moves fast, and I’ve learned that rest isn’t lazy. It’s a reset.

Surrounded by the rolling bluffs and blue waters of Minnesota, I fell in love early with nature, writing, and mindfulness. What I do has always come from the heart — no matter the project, I’m drawn to work that leaves the world a little better than we found it. When I’m not taking nature walks, you’ll find me curled up on the couch with a good movie and my cuddly Siamese cat (cue instant nervous system calm). |
