As we turn the calendar to March, we’re all crossing our wings and hoping it doesn’t come in like a lion—preferably with no more snow in the forecast! No matter the weather, our Forestville Cardinals have been soaring. Students have been busy selling Girl Scout cookies, racing Pinewood Derby cars, competing in the Odyssey of the Mind competition, and showing their spelling skills at the senior spelling bee. It’s been a season full of creativity, teamwork, and Cardinal pride.

The third quarter is moving forward quickly, and the PTA is already hard at work looking ahead. Planning is underway for Teacher Appreciation Week, the 4th–6th Grade Dance, the return of the 6th Grade Basketball Game, and 6th Grade Promotion activities. We’re also collecting photos for the yearbook and—believe it or not—beginning preparations for our 2026–2027 PTA elections. Thank you for being such an engaged and supportive community. We’re excited for all that’s still to come this spring!
