Meet one-on-one with an expert instructor to get your technology questions answered in a friendly, welcoming environment. Bring your device and get assistance with apps, removing computer viruses or malware, storing pictures and files, and any other questions you have. Participants of all ages are invited to paint rocks for the new Lubber Run Rock Garden. Tuesday, March 24, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at Langston-Brown
Tanise Bing, financial counselor with Arlington Community Federal Credit Union, will discuss how to recognize, prevent and respond to financial exploitation and scams. Learn the most common red flags, how fraudsters target older adults, and practical steps to protect finances and identity. This presentation is in partnership with Arlington Libraries: no 55+ Pass required. The goal of Arlington’s Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is to promote the maximum level of independence of persons 60 and older, and ensure older Arlington residents live as an integral part of society, with dignity and with access to programs and services that meet their needs and preferences. DPR and the FY 2027 Proposed Operating Budget
On Sat., Feb. 21 the County Manager released the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Proposed Operating Budget. To learn about impacts directly related to Parks and Recreation programs or services, we invite you to watch DPR’s budget work session with the County Board on March 5, 2026 at 1 p.m.
The County Board will host two opportunities for public comment:
- Tues., March 24 at 6:30 p.m. - Public Budget Hearing

Thurs., March 26 at 6:30 p.m. - Public Tax Rate and Fees Hearing
All hearings and work sessions will be held in the County Board Room at the Bozman Government Center, 2100 Clarendon Blvd, 3rd Floor and are also available to view online. Resources can be found on the County Board meetings and agendas webpage. Community members can also share their views online by emailing dmf@arlingtonva.us.
