An exasperated Premier François Legault said Thursday that the salary offer the government is offering Quebec’s medical specialists is generous enough.
“Enough!” Legault told reporters as he arrived for question period. “Medical specialists, who work full time, earn on average $550,000 a year. We are offering an increase of 11 per cent. That means $600,000 a year."
But the president of the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec (FMSQ) says the premier has his numbers wrong, writes The Gazette's Philip Authier.
