During a visit to Logitech’s HQ, PC Gamer was surprised to see a simple block of chemical wood carved as an early step in gaming mouse design, despite the prevalence of CAD and 3D printing. The company values this tactile, analogue process because it helps designers better understand form and ergonomics, and these handcrafted prototypes are a regular part of evolving new mouse shapes. |
