Presidents Day & Teacher Workday All schools and offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, for the Presidents Day holiday.  Tuesday, February 17, is a teacher workday. There will be no school for students.

Around the World Heritage Night, March 26

Heritage Night will be held on March 26, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Heritage Night is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of the cultures and stories that define our community. Author Leah Henderson visiting in March Author Leah Henderson will be visiting students in grades 3-6 on March 17. If you would like to purchase her books, please order through Bookworm Central. Ramadan Observation and Meal Kits

If your student is observing Ramadan during school hours, please fill out this Ramadan Participation Questionnaire so we can coordinate on both a prayer schedule and a lunch alternative location for them, if needed.

From February 18 to March 19, students who are fasting during the day can take school meals home. These kits include one breakfast and one lunch to be eaten after the school day ends. Visit the Food and Nutrition webpage for forms, deadlines, and other information.

• Why Smart Kids Struggle (March 11): An exploration of how executive function impacts academic performance, offering ways to help students get "unstuck" without parental nagging.

Oak View’s Little Wings Theatre is proud to present Disney's Newsies, Jr. on Wednesday, March 4, and Friday, March 6. Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m., with Door 2 opening at 7:15 p.m. for seating. Roses will be available for purchase at the show, with all proceeds directly supporting our talented Little Wings Theatre program.
