Blackhawks prospects Nick Lardis and Kevin Korchinski were among the host Rockford IceHogs' representatives in this week's AHL All-Star festivities. Both players had brief NHL stints this season and say they learned a ton in their time with the Hawks — namely being poised against the greater talent.

“Teams are so good up there, physically and structured, and all their systems are really good,” Lardis said. “It’s just making sure that you’re playing with a lot of hard skill, and being a good two-way player is huge.”
