Dear Mason Crest Families,
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our custodial staff and families for all your efforts this past week to clear the snow and ice to make conditions safe for students. We could not have navigated the challenging winter conditions without everyone's support and patience.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Mason Crest and for helping us be the best school we can be!
Mr. Aiello, Ms. Conroy, and Ms. Shin

We encourage families to attend either in person or through the Zoom Link. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the administrative team.
Thank you for helping to keep our children safe!

New AAP Center Feedback
There is a new proposal to open an Advanced Academics Program at North Springfield Elementary. Families are welcome to provide feedback about the proposal through the following form. The form will remain open through Saturday, February 14.
The slide deck from the most recent community presentation is embedded in the feedback form and can also be accessed via this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Kirsten Maloney, the senior manager for K12 Advanced Academic Programs, at knmaloney@fcps.edu.
It's Kindergarten Registration Time
Kindergarten helps children learn and practice the social, emotional, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills they will use throughout their lives.
Fairfax County public schools typically conduct kindergarten registration events, including orientation, in the spring. Eligible children can be registered throughout the summer, but registering your child early helps schools prepare and ensure they have the teachers and resources needed on the first day of school.
If your child will attend our school, please gather necessary documents and complete registration forms as soon as possible.
FCPS offers support and resources for all families to help with registration and the transition to kindergarten. For support in other languages, please visit the FCPS Registration webpage.
