Dear Thoreau Families,

First, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the Thoreau custodial team for their fantastic job ensuring that our building was ready for students to return. Their hard work did not go unnoticed, and we appreciate them greatly.

This week is also Counselor Appreciation Week. Our school counselors are amazing, trusted adults who support and advocate for our students and their needs. They are able to build great relationships with our students and help them through challenges with peers, stress/anxiety, and any other situations that arise. We appreciate all of their hard work and support of our students and are so glad that they are part of our team!

Our Rising 7th Grade Curriculum Night last evening was a resounding success! A huge thank you to our enthusiastic teachers who showcased their engaging curriculum and to our amazing student ambassadors who shared their experiences in our diverse elective classes. We appreciate everyone who came out to learn more about what Thoreau has to offer.
