Rivalries heat up Friday night

Friday night featured several rivalry games in the suburbs.

In Palatine, Fremd’s Jordan Williams hit a buzzer beater in overtime to lift the Vikings past crosstown rival Palatine 65-63. The win moves the Vikings into first place in the MSL West.

In St. Charles, Brooklyn Schilb scored 31 points to lead St. Charles East past St. Charles North 43-36. It’s the fourth straight win for the Saints in the crosstown rivalry.
