Hi Marek, At the beginning of this year, many of our supporters filled in a survey telling us what matters most to them in 2026 and we’re taking it to heart. From their responses, a few clear threads stand out. Climate action is a priority for the vast majority of us, closely linked to food systems, poverty, and health. Many of our supporters also highlighted the importance of talking about peace, disinformation and media literacy, democratic accountability, and corporate power. So many of these issues are interconnected: Climate affects harvests; food security shapes health; inequality drives injustice; political choices have a ripple effect far beyond borders. This year, European politicians will decide the EU’s next long-term budget, and all these interconnected issues matter more than ever. That budget will shape climate action, healthcare systems, food security, and opportunities for communities across Europe and Africa. What our supporters shared is shaping how we advocate in the months ahead. You’ll hear directly from young people across European and African countries working in health, climate, and communities experiencing poverty, sharing how EU decisions affect their lives and work.
