  • The hit period romance “Bridgerton” returns for its fourth season on Netflix.

  • Jodie Foster leads the new French mystery “A Private Life,” opening in theaters.

  • The Oscar-nominated animated film “Arco,” opens in theaters around Boston.

Friday

  • Singer-songwriter and violinist Sudan Archives takes the stage at Royale.

  • The Lords of 52nd Street, featuring former members of Billy Joel’s band, perform at the Cabot in Beverly.

  • The Elovaters headline MGM Music Hall at Fenway Friday and Saturday.

Saturday

  • Quartet Delta Generators brings its Americana sound to Boston Harbor Distillery.

  • Something in the Way Fest takes over Roadrunner Saturday and Sunday.




Sunday

  • Trevor Noah returns to host the Grammys on CBS, with Pharrell Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, and more set to perform.

  • Just in time for next weekend’s Super Bowl, Tom Brady’s new football docuseries “Rise of the 49ers” premieres on AMC.

  • Kaley Cuoco stars in the new thriller “Vanished,” debuting on MGM+.

Ongoing

  • Presented by SpeakEasy Stage Company, “Job” plays Calderwood Pavilion’s Roberts Studio Theatre through Feb. 7.

  • “Some Like It Hot” continues its run at Citizen Opera House through Feb. 8.

Last chance

  • “The Great Privation (how to flip ten cents into a dollar)” ends its stay at Suffolk University’s Modern Theatre on Saturday.
