Good morning, Chicago.

The Blackhawks lost a 3-0 lead last night in Minnesota, falling 4-3 in a shootout to drop to 21-23-9 on the season, six points out a playoff berth.

But general manager Kyle Davidson tells the Tribune he has seen significant progress in the rebuild.

“We’re playing meaningful games deeper into the season,” Davidson said. “Rather than playing spoiler on someone else’s season, we can try and keep making ours positive.”
