| Could a nor'easter this weekend bring another foot of snow? Here's what we know |
Deep snowpack can often lead to very cold temperatures, and this pattern follows that theme. Overnight lows will dip into the single digits through the first part of the weekend, and daytime highs will only reach a numbing range of low and mid-20s. The next storm is a finicky one. Track matters, but so does the huge plume of precipitation swirling around the storm. Even a glancing shot could mean a big dose of snow. |

| Is Drake Maye injured? Vrabel says team ‘not at 100%' at this point in the season |
The Patriots need to get healthy ahead of the Super Bowl, head coach Mike Vrabel said Tuesday, responding to speculation about a possible injury to quarterback Drake Maye’s shoulder. “I think that everybody — and including Drake — is not 100% at this part of the year and we’ll do everything that we can to help our players be prepared and get ready for this game,” Vrabel said. He declined to give specifics, instead cracking jokes about his response to the speculation during an interview on The Greg Hill Show on WEEI. |

| Perry: Maye was dealing with right shoulder issue before AFC title game |
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye’s health is a storyline ahead of his team’s Super Bowl 60 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 8. NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry reported Tuesday that Maye was dealing with a right shoulder issue before the AFC Championship Game win over the Denver Broncos this past Sunday, but it hadn’t limited him in practices or games. “On Drake Maye’s health, my understanding is that he was dealing with a right shoulder issue prior to the Denver game,” Perry wrote on X. “It hadn’t limited him in practices or games, but wasn’t 100 percent. The Talanoa Hufanga hit, which resulted in Maye landing hard on his right side, didn’t help.” |

Judge rules Mass. offshore wind project halted by Trump admin. can continue |
A federal judge said Tuesday that a nearly completed Massachusetts offshore wind project can continue, as the industry successfully challenges the Trump administration in court. At U.S. District Court in Boston, Judge Brian Murphy halted the administration’s stop work order for Vineyard Wind, citing the potential economic losses from the delays and the developers’ likelihood of success on their claims. Vineyard Wind is one of five big offshore wind projects on the East Coast that the Trump administration froze days before Christmas, citing national security concerns— and the fourth that has since been allowed to go forward. A spokesperson for the company, Craig Gilvarg, said in a statement that it would “work with the Administration to understand the matters raised in the Order.” |
