With all due respect to last week’s awards shows, this was the heavy-hitting red carpet we’ve all been waiting for. The Golden Globes come with colossal expectations: appearances by both TV and film’s most in-demand stars, a never-know-what-you’re-going-to-get show plus the fashion peacocking to match. And with all the recent designer debuts at Dior, Chanel, etc. destined to have their first major spin in the real(-ish) world, all eyes were on the red carpet.
