Happy New Year! We are off to a good start, giving the chickens all sorts of enticing treats this morning, and enjoying mimosas, donuts, and a fire outside with the kids. We moved on to black-eyed peas and collard greens for lunch with neighbors (it’s a Southern thing). That means tomorrow will be a day for the gym and some catch-up on the news because these days, even New Year’s Eve isn’t sacred, with both the Jack Smith transcript dump and a Ninth Circuit decision on the National Guard.
