As 2025 comes to a close, I would like to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of The Associated Press.  

As a not-for-profit news organization, AP has no parent company or shareholders. We invest every dollar we make back into our journalism.  

Over the past 12 months, AP journalists around the globe have borne witness to the world’s biggest stories. From wars and hurricanes to Super Bowls and red carpets, AP is there, on the ground, reporting the news so that you — and billions of people around the world — have access to factual, nonpartisan reporting.  
 
We know you count on AP to provide the facts, and also to stand up for fundamental principles when it matters most. This is paramount for us globally, whether defending the First Amendment on behalf of all Americans or calling for journalist access to Gaza.
