It’s been 84 years since Oona Chaplin filmed her role in James Cameron’s Avatar threequel, Fire and Ash. Okay, fine, it’s only been eight—but that’s still a very long time ago! “Because the process was so rich and fulfilling, there was a part of me that kind of put it to bed,” she tells Rebecca Ford. “I was like, Cool. Even if the film never comes out, I’m happy. I feel like I accomplished and learned so much as a person, as an artist.” The film has come out, though, and Chaplin’s furious Varang is its breakout character.
