UPDATES from the PTA

A Note of Gratitude and Our Vision for the New Year

Dear Bush Hill Elementary Families and Staff,

As we approach the holiday season and prepare to welcome a new year, we would like to take a moment to reflect on what we have accomplished together and share a brief look ahead.

This fall, our PTA focused on strengthening our foundation to better support our students, staff, and families. Thanks to your engagement and generosity, we made meaningful progress in several key areas:

Student Enrichment: Our students expanded their skills and discovered new interests through a variety of enrichment programs.

Community Building: From the Ice Cream Social to the Fall Festival and Turkey Trot, it has been wonderful to see students, staff, and families connect and enjoy time together.

Fundraising: Your generosity and enthusiastic participation have been inspiring. These efforts allow us to continue fostering an engaging and supportive environment for our students and staff.

Membership: We welcomed many new members this year, and our PTA is now 122 members strong. Monthly meetings have been well attended, and we are grateful for the active interest in our shared goals.

Volunteers: Most importantly, none of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers. You show up time and again for our students and staff, and we are deeply thankful.

Looking ahead to the new year, our focus will be both practical and purposeful. In January, we will launch a renewed advocacy effort focused on the importance of fully funded schools and the direct impact funding has on class size, student services, enrichment opportunities, and staff support. We will also continue enrichment, fundraising and community-building efforts to meet immediate needs while advocating for long-term solutions.

None of this work is possible without you. Whether you volunteered your time, joined the PTA, attended an event, donated, or stayed informed, you played an important role in supporting our school community.

From all of us on the PTA Board, thank you for your partnership and commitment. We wish you and your family a joyful holiday season and look forward to working together in the new year.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated and helped make our Staff Appreciation Breakfast truly special. Because of your generosity, our amazing staff enjoyed a delicious buffet and they were so grateful for the love and support from our Bush Hill community.
