Kendra Scott Holiday Event
Our holiday shopping giveback event with Kendra Scott begins this week and runs through December 21.
When shopping online at kendrascott.com, use the code GIVEBACK-KXGNG and 20% of your purchase will benefit the CGW Athletic Boosters. This is a wonderful opportunity to raise funds while purchasing gifts everyone loves!
We will also host an in-store shopping event on Friday, December 19, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Mosaic District location. During this time, shoppers can direct their in-store purchases toward our fundraiser. I will be there to help promote the event and encourage you to attend as well. Kendra Scott will be providing sweets, giveaways, a raffle, and more.

2025 PHYSICAL CHANGES
Changes to Athletic Physical Requirements
Legislation introduced in the Virginia General Assembly and recently signed into law will result in two significant changes to the athletic pre-participation examination (physical) requirements for FCPS student-athletes:
- Beginning July 1, 2025, athletic physicals will be considered valid for a period of 14 months from the date the form is signed by the medical provider completing the exam. This is the date on page 3 of the VHSL Athletic Participation/Parent Consent/Physical Examination Form (revised January 2021).
- Beginning May 1, 2025, FCPS student-athletes are EXPECTED to have athletic physicals completed on the new VHSL Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Evaluation Form (revised April 2025).
