More than 130 students from as far east as Dover Heights to the suburbs of Tamworth and even Beijing have been recognised as the cream of the crop, ranking first or joint first in one or more subjects in the 2025 HSC.

In total, 132 students from 83 schools have been recognised for their achievement in placing first in one of 113 courses at an annual ceremony hosted by the HSC’s administrative body – the NSW Education Standards Authority – at UNSW in Kensington.
