You worked hard enough this week. Let us plan your weekend…
1.
Swifties, are you ready for it? The first two episodes of Disney+’s aptly titled The End of an Era docuseries are now streaming, and even if you were among the 10 million lucky fans who made it to the phenomenon that was the Eras Tour, we promise: You haven’t seen it like this. In the six-part series (two new episodes will stream every Friday), expect backstage shenanigans (will we get more of Scott Swift on a Segway?), appearances from some of the tour’s special guests, never-before-seen footage of that janitor’s cart, glimpses of Taylor Swift’s postshow routine (we’re adding these bath items to our carts ASAP), and, of course, lots of cameos from your gym teacher. An early holiday gift, indeed.
2.
Already bored with every sweater you own? Same. Turns out, the answer isn’t buying new ones — it’s this viral “three-piece rule,” which is so effective, a former Ralph Lauren employee said she wasn’t “allowed” to show up to work without using it. That’s reason enough for us to try it.
3.
You know who’s had a very good year? Robby Hoffman, that’s who. Not only did she steal every Hacks scene as Jimmy and Kayla’s unlikely assistant, but her new comedy special, Robby Hoffman: Wake Up, premieres Sunday on Netflix. Now, if her hot takes (we second her stance on 39th birthday parties) and Larry Davidesque comedy style aren’t enough to convince you to watch, perhaps the fact it’s directed by a man named John Mulaney will do the trick. To quote the director himself, “Fe, fi, fo, fum. Here she f*cking comes.”
4.
It’s not just you: All of our feeds are currently flooded with videos of people making Ina Garten’s ooey, gooey Brownie Pudding — a recipe she first dropped decades ago (watch this iconic clip for a surprisingly NSFW ending). And it’s easy to see why: To state the obvious, it looks ridiculously delicious (think: a giant chocolate lava cake), requires just six ingredients (most of which you probably have on hand), and has been called the “best creation Ina has given this world.” Just make sure to save some of that cocoa powder for another sweet treat, hitting your inbox tomorrow.

Baby Reindeer fans, your next genre-defying psychological puzzle is here.Wisecrack, which was recently included on Apple Podcasts’ Best of 2025 list, chronicles the true story of comedian Edd Hedges, who in 2015, was staying with his parents after a local charity gig when he was awoken by a murderer banging on their door. The incident inspired his stand-up show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which TV producer Jodi Tovay just so happened to catch. As Tovay digs into the specifics of that night, she starts to wonder if it’s all an act. Listen to all six parts now, before the inevitable TV adaptation.
Happy (almost) weekend. The good news? I’ve survived my first cold of the season. The bad news? I’m now feeling behind on my holiday errands. So in between trying these low-effort, high-reward ideas for squeezing in more quality time with friends and family (#5 is unexpectedly brilliant), I’ll try to knock as many to-dos as I can off my list. Such as…
Finalize my holiday menu. We’ll have 16 people for Christmas dinner (
