You may not know this, but I’ve released a few free plugins in collaboration with Bedroom Producers Blog and 99Sounds. These drum modules were created to offer fun, original percussion for music producers—no matter the genre.

The first one was GB DrumBox, a drum plugin featuring twelve authentic Game Boy drum kits. Perfect for chiptune, video game music, and 8-bit inspired drum programming, GB DrumBox originally launched in November 2019.

DrumPlayer is a free drum module built using my drum-module template. It includes the usual distortion, delay, reverb, sub, vinyl, and tape effects, plus a multi-LFO — a feature rarely found in drum romplers.

DrumPlayer comes with 20 drum kits designed for hip-hop, electronic, lo-fi, glitch, and experimental music.

Available as VST/VST3/AU for Windows 8.1/10/11 and macOS 10.12+ (including full compatibility with modern macOS and Apple Silicon).

BPB Cassette Drums is a free, sample-based virtual drum machine built from the classic sounds of the Roland TR-808, TR-909, TR-606, and the MFB-522 drum computer.

All samples were captured manually from the original hardware, then re-recorded through a vintage SABA tape deck and a TASCAM 244 Portastudio 4-track cassette recorder. I also sampled a set of MFB-522 hits processed through my reliable Echocord tape delay.

Each drum machine was recorded at multiple gain levels to preserve different shades of analog saturation. For full flexibility, the plugin also includes completely clean versions of every kit, letting you choose exactly how much character you want in your mix.
