Dear Limitless and Rewind users,

We want to let you know that, as a part of our ongoing efforts to improve user experience, we are updating our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and making certain other changes to the Limitless and Rewind platforms, as described below. The updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are effective December 5, 2025. You can read the updated Terms of Service here and the updated Privacy Policy here.

Beginning today, you will see an in-app prompt asking you to review and consent to the updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please open your app to review and, if you agree, provide your consent.

What's changing

We know that privacy and transparency is important to many of our users, so we are updating our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to:

1. Reiterate expectations relating to responsible and privacy-protective use of the pendant and Limitless platform. In particular, we have updated our Terms of Service to clarify our expectation that users must notify and obtain consent from individuals before recording conversations with them using the pendant and our other products and services, and that users should not record anyone who does not provide their consent or expresses that they do not wish to be recorded. We have also reiterated that the pendant's LED recording light must remain visible to other conversation participants while recording;


2. Reflect that while Limitless will continue to protect your data using technical standards designed with industry standard privacy and security requirements in mind, Limitless will no longer act as a Business Associate under HIPAA;


3. Provide more detail regarding our data processing activities, including about the information we may collect, the third parties to whom we may disclose your data, and the purposes for which those third parties may use your data; and


4. Revise other provisions to improve clarity and readability.

If you do not agree to the updated Privacy Policy or Terms of Service, you must stop using our products and services, including the pendant and Limitless platform. You may then request that we close your account by contacting us at support@limitless.ai. In that case, you will still be bound by the previous Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for use prior to December 5, 2025.

Users in Brazil, China, the European Union, Israel, South Korea, Turkey, and the United Kingdom

As of December 5, 2025, the Limitless service will no longer be available in Brazil, China, the European Union, Israel, South Korea, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. If you wish to download your stored transcripts or other account information before the service becomes unavailable in your region, please follow the instructions in this Help Center article. Users in these regions will have until December 19, 2025 to download their information, after which, their account and all associated information will be permanently deleted. We will share further information about this process in a follow up email.

Information for Rewind Users

Rewind will be shutting down on December 19, 2025 and will no longer be available to existing users after that date. If you have questions about how this may affect your Limitless experience, please reach out to support@limitless.ai.
