For what would be her final Christmas, my mother-in-law, Pam, bought me some T-shirts. I was disappointed to discover they didn’t fit and had to be returned, which I did, receiving store credit. I decided to use the store credit to purchase the Blu-ray of a film I’d been wanting; that would be my present from Pam.

Sadly, finances were not great with it being just after Christmas, and when I got to the checkout, I found I had to put things back as I didn’t have enough money to pay for everything. The Blu-ray was a high-value item amongst all the little groceries, so it had to be sacrificed. (Keep reading)
