Now Hiring: Housing Navigator
Arlington County seeks a Housing Navigator to support individuals and families in accessing and maintaining safe, stable, and affordable housing. This position is part of the Housing Assistance Bureau (HAB), which integrates housing services and programs to improve outcomes for DHS clients and low-to-moderate income residents. Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Masters degree in a related field;
- understanding of housing programs (e.g., Housing Choice Voucher, Permanent Supportive Housing, and transitional housing);
- bilingual proficiency (Spanish/other languages commonly spoken in the community); and/or
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, and case management systems.

December 5: Digital Equity Coalition
Become a part of Arlington's Digital Equity Coalition, to help bridge the digital divide. (It exists - even in Arlington due to access or affordability issues. Around 12 percent of Arlington households rely on a cellular data plan for their internet needs, or do not have service.) GMU will present on ways to partner with their departments to advance digital equity work and leverage students' abilities to improve access. There will also be time for networking.
