Our new overview looks at Ministry of Justice (MoJ) spending in 2024-25.

MoJ is the lead government department responsible for the justice system in England and Wales. In 2024-25, MoJ focused on three priority outcomes: punishment that cuts crime, swifter justice for victims, and being a beacon for justice and the rule of law.
