Deana Sdao never thought she’d be the kind of person to read a book where two characters make such passionate love that it generates a furniture-smashing electrical storm.
Then she picked up the smash hit romance-fantasy novel Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, and those reservations fell away.
“I was obsessed. Within the first couple chapters, I could not put the book down,” says Sdao, a thirty-something Torontonian who works in social media strategy. “It wasn’t necessarily about the smut. It was more the storyline, which was unlike anything I’d ever read.”
