TRAFFIC ALERT: Clarendon Thanksgiving Eve Road Closures
ARLINGTON, Va. – To accommodate the expected increase in nightlife activity in Clarendon on the evening of Wednesday, November 26, the Arlington County Police Department will implement road closures and parking restrictions to help ensure public safety.
Electronic message boards are currently in place to alert motorists of the upcoming closures, and drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes if traveling in the area. Rideshare pick-ups and drop-offs will be permitted along Washington Boulevard and Metro bus service will operate without interruption.
Road Closure
- Wilson Boulevard and Clarendon Boulevard from N. Highland Street to Washington Boulevard from 10:00 p.m. on November 26 to 3:00 a.m. on November 27.
Parking Restrictions
- Street parking will be restricted on Wilson Boulevard and Clarendon Boulevard on November 26 beginning at 8:00 p.m.
- If your vehicle is towed, please use the online portal to find out the status of your vehicle. The online portal is updated in real time. If you cannot locate your vehicle or need additional support using the online portal, call the County non-emergency number at 703-558-2222.
