| Ralph Abraham, who is Louisiana’s surgeon general, has been hired as the principal deputy director at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to a spokesperson for the Health and Human Services Department. The CDC currently has no permanent director, so Abraham would essentially be running the agency. |
