World Caribbean Books Launches Book FairThe Nassau, Bahamas–based hybrid publisher and online bookseller will host its inaugural Christmas Book Fair next month—the latest effort in its mission to bring together Caribbean authors under one roof. The company’s ultimate goal, said CEO Albert Cox, is to “increase literacy throughout the entire Caribbean region.”

Earlier this month, Canada Post announced a slate of stamps inspired by six Canadian graphic novels, featuring original artwork by Jimmy Beaulieu, Kate Beaton, Guy Delisle, Julie Doucet, Bryan Lee O’Malley, and Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas.
