What We Need from Our Bakers:
Thank you in advance for helping us make this holiday season extra special for our dedicated teachers and staff!
If you have any questions or need help coordinating drop-off, please contact Jess Raymond at jess.raymond2@gmail.com.
From Laura Morrow (Chief of Book Fair Committee)...
Book Fair 2025 is all wrapped up for the year! Thank you so much to our well-behaved kiddos, our amazing Wolftrap staff, our committed volunteers, and our generous families!
While we don't have final numbers yet, the Book Fair was a HUGE success -- netting at least 6,000 for our school, plus well over $1,000 worth of new books for our kids to enjoy in the library and classrooms. A good portion of back orders were delivered to kids last week, and we are expecting most of the remaining orders to come in the next week or two and be delivered to homeroom classrooms. If you have any issues or remaining back order after December 12th please reach out to bookfair@wolftrappta.org.
Special thanks goes to:
- Lauren Aggerwal (Chief Decorating Officer) for creating a festive Carnival atmosphere and display case!
- Megan McGuire (Chief Marketing Officer) for making sure we had volunteers and customers!
- Laura Roper (Chief Problem Solver) for jumping in wherever extra help (and troubleshooting) was needed!
- Mandy Ryan (Chief Organizational Officer) for helping Book Fair run as smoothly as possible!
- Diana Cohen (Cashier Extraordinaire) for bringing her skills back for a second day of Open House!
Thank you for working hard moving tables and books for 4+ hours during set-up: Lauren Aggerwal, Laura Roper, Diana Cohen, Chi Park, Alicia Rockey, Anne Tartaglia, and Zeina Shreif; and for taking it all down: Kate McCartan, Laura Roper, Britt Mintz, and Cat Tucker.
These volunteers put in overtime working multiple shifts: Kerry Lombard, Linda Pugel, Stephanie Wolter, Yan Niu, Katie Merli, Kadie Blaney, and Kate McCartan.
Thank you to our additional cashiers and floaters: Sara Berset, Uppasna Chand, Julie Fisher, Kristen Goodby, Lauren Krulick, Allison Gillies, Anne Snyder, Nikki Sobiechowski, Lara Alissa, Erin Piper, Katy Trundle, Jenna Pietropola, Tina Chan, Josephine Tracy, Stacy Lundy, and Blair Matthews.
And thank you for lending us your fabulous middle schoolers! They were so mature and helpful, and really saved the day!
There were many others who pitched in all week to make Book Fair a great success - You have my deepest gratitude!
Dear Wolftrap Families,
As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each of you. The first few months of this school year have been full of energy, creativity, and connection — and that is entirely because of our incredible Wolftrap community.
Thank you for showing up, volunteering your time, lending your talents, supporting events, and cheering on our students and teachers. Whether you chaired a committee, attended an event, donated supplies, joined the PTA, or simply encouraged your child to participate — every effort makes an impact.
We are continually inspired by the kindness, collaboration, and spirit that make Wolftrap such a special place. This community truly embodies what it means to support one another, and we are grateful to be on this journey together.
We hope this long weekend brings rest, connection, laughter, and meaningful moments with loved ones. Enjoy the break — and thank you for being an essential part of Wolftrap.
With gratitude, Britt, Anne, Jess, Stephanie & Linda Your 2025-2026 PTA Board
